TL;DR Sales/Delivery/Product are Excellent. Aftersales are poor. We visited with an appointment to select tile for flooring and showers for two bathrooms. The sales person was knowledgeable about products and they have a nice selection to review within the store. We got a detailed quote with pricing for several options that we considered including samples for the pieces as well. Placing the order was easy and products were available on schedule as promised.
Our issues started with after sales processes. Some of the product was marked as non-returnable on the quote and others were not marked. When we attempted to return the 'returnable' product, we were given a hassle, but once escalated we were able to get it sent back. We later found out that we missed ordering a transition for one of the floors. We asked them what we needed and they placed the order for the part.
When we had the carpet installers in, they said it was completely the wrong part. HP is unwilling to take the product back because it is a 'special order.' It is hard to imagine a company that advises on a specific product you need sight unseen and won't accept it back when they make a mistake and sell the wrong thing. Lesson learned to do your own research on the parts needed and verify with your GC/installers before finalizing any order since after sales support is lacking.

We had a terrible experience with Hamilton Parker. I have never left a bad review for a company before but this time it just seems important to share. For starters, our sales woman who met with us was not very friendly and was rude as my husband and I were picking out tile for our new bathroom. When the tile arrived it was 4 times larger than it was supposed to be.
The size we chose was a typical bathroom floor tile (12 by 24 inches) and this was (24 by 48 inches) for a very small bathroom. Apparently the sales woman made the mistake and wrote the wrong numbers down. We understand that things happen. The main problem occurred when we tried to contact Hamilton Parker to make this right. We were ignored and basically delayed for months and months.
No one could give us a straight answer and it was very disappointing. The company never took responsibility for the issue and basically blamed it on us. We ended up losing a lot of money and the customer service was just not great. I believe I spoke with 5 different team members or managers and it took way too long for someone to actually offer help.
Overall we were just very disappointed with our Hamilton Parker experience. We did finally end up getting refunded for some of the incorrect tiles that were ordered almost 5 months later.

If you find tile that you like at Hamilton Parker, no problem, it will probably be just fine. Our advice, though, for any installation materials that you or your tile professional will need for installation is to purchase those items at almost ANY other local retailer, as most other retailers actually have a "keep our customer happy" policy by allowing returns of recently purchased unopened items like off the shelf grout.

The 2 ladies who "helped" me were unfriendly and condescending. I left wondering if I had gone to the wrong place and maybe they were used to working with contractors or companies and not homeowners. They could not tell me how much the tile cost or how much of it they had. They said they would email it to me later today. I still haven't heard anything.
Even if the tile is well-priced, I won't be giving them my business. Edit: One week later and they still have not sent me the information they said they would. I guess they have so much business that good customer service is not worth the effort.

We had the worst experience dealing with the lady in the fireplace department. I won't go into too much detail, other than to say, I highly suggest using a different company. Working with them was a nightmare. They messed up our main gas line and every time we turn our fireplace on.the carbon monoxide/fire alarms go off. When we shared this the lady said "We are not contractors". Then why in the world are you installing GAS logs into people's homes? We won't be using them for the rest of our renovation projects.

This company has better selections than any other company in the area. They navigated the difficulty and unknown that covid created with finesse. They still worked around spontaneous buyers like myself which a lot of other companies failed. Great value for the money here and kind and helpful staff. Especially loved Aaron, Jamie and Lynn.

We have been working with Kelli at the Delaware location. She has so much knowledge of the products, patience and kindness that has made the process easier in picking out our tile. She has gone above and beyond with helping us with measurements and the final decision on which tile to pick. I would recommend her to everyone!

After 10 years. TEN YEARS! of periodically contacting the garage door dept (with NO reply) regarding a crooked track installation & inoperable spring(s) on our new-build home; they FINALLY contacted me today to schedule replacement of 1 spring (out of 2) for $300! Even though 3 workers (upon inspection) uniformly agreed whomever did the original install in 2008 did a horrendous job; Hamilton Parker refused to honor their shoddy work and would not replace the 1 spring for less than $300!.furthermore they also refused to repair the track misaligned in 2008!

I reached out to them in reagrds to having my old heavy wood garage doors replaced with the Wayne Dalton 9100 series. Laurel responded to my initial email and she was very responsive as we exchanged half a dozen emails discussimg their pricing and services. Eventually she scheduled someone to come out and measure at no charge. After a couple of weeks of delay on my part, I needed to stop in and see the doors in person in the showroom.
I had some questions and while Laurel being off that day, another employee helped me out while we finalized some details of the install - the debate was to tear down and haul away myself, or pay them to do it. We decided to have them tear down, install, and haul away and paid for it. The installer Ron was fantastic. I had a bunch of questions about the process, and he multi-tasked like a pro, working on the doors while answering those questions.
I know first hand these guys get paid by ths job, and so time is money for them, and I really appreciated it. He was detailed in letting me know about the issues on door openers that were in the house from the previous owners. Original issue was with was the old aged extension springs, they had snapped, one on each door, which roughed up the one of the openers rendering it a safety issue.
I decided to leave it disconnected but again, I was happy he gave an attempt to make it work. Im a price driven person and cant guarantee Id always return to the same place, but in any event Id highly recommend HP for a garage door replacement job, from a pricing, quality, and service standpoint.

1st visit there started off great, then went BAD. Associate helped me pick out the appropriate fireplace place, and said, "roughly $7000 with install on the high side." Called her and left a message with a couple questions I thought of. Two days later after NO RETURNED CALL, I go back into the store. The girl who I left the message with walks out of the office, and catches her off guard when she sees my face.
Her response to me was so careless, "Oh, sorry, I haven't had a chance to call you back." Really? I'm practically giving you a guaranteed sale and that's all you can say. So while I was there, I picked out a different one, and the other lady said, "probably around $5k with install." Asked her to write up an estimate and it came back $11,000!
I emailed her back that it was out of our budget and would like to go back to the original fireplace we had picked out. One week later, still NO RESPONSE. Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere!

Rude, rude, rude! Stopped in a half hour before closing. Was greeted with "we close in 30 minutes." Five minutes later another employee reminded me they were set to close soon. At 6:45, I had pulled 5-6 sample tiles but when I turned my back an employee had put all my samples back. When I asked what happened to them, I was told they were put back since they close in 15 minutes!
By the time I found them again and asked for samples to take with me, I was told it was 7:02 and they close at 7:00. Rude, rude, rude! It's evident they don't need business, much less my business.

Drive by here all the time; we're putting in a floor so now seemed like a good time to stop in. This is a distribution center and showroom for the company. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I just looked at the kitchen tile, but there was clearly a lot of stuff in the other areas. The floors are covered in tile so you can get an idea how things will look, and there are mini-rooms so you can imagine a shower setup, etc. Prices were a little high compared to big box stores, but for very nice products so it would be worth it. In the end we went with another option, but I will keep this place in mind for larger future projects.
