Universal Stone

Awful experience. I'm not even sure where to start but it wasn't so much about the template being measured incorrectly because mistakes happen. The guy that I worked with was very nice about it, but it was more about what occurred afterwards. Customer service was completely slow to respond. It was if they were afraid to speak up. I've never seen anything like this before. Installers were great but there was no communication between anyone there. It was almost embarrassing and no apologies just excuses. I can never refer them to anyone in good faith. Super disappointed.

Unfortunately as hard as we tried to become customers we weren't given the opportunity. We were given certain pricing and when we tried to nail all our selections the pricing had significantly increased. We tried finding other selections that would fit our budget but we would wait 10 days - 2 weeks for a reply to one question. We tried countless times and after our last correspondence- we heard nothing for 3weeks so we thankfully found someone else with much better pricing, customer service and options.

I couldn't be happier! Courteous, professional service starting with Nicki's expert design consultation - she definitely nailed it.to the superb installation team led by Freddy, Jesus and Victor. We experienced some structural challenges that Freddy faced head on, communicating every step of the way. It looks beautiful, thank you so much Universal!

From start to finish they went above and beyond. I recently completed a gut job renovation on the main level of my home and when I tell you Universal Stone's team is the only contractor I worked with that I had zero issues with. Their communication was prompt and courteous, they had one tiny snafu with the install but they fixed it immediately. Reliable, friendly, knowledgeable, quality workmanship AND reasonably priced?! 10/10 would work with again and again and again.

My husband and I wanted our countertops and backsplash redone along with removing our old bulky corbels a d replacing them with flush mounts that we would t hit our knees on when sitting on our bar stools. When we went to the design room in Ballantyne we met with Hemant and he knew exactly the look we were going for. He priced us out for a new sink, countertops, corbels, and backsplash for lower than all of the competitors and the work is absolutely beautiful! We would definitely recommend Universal Stone to any friends or family.

I just had the most pleasant experience with Universal Stone. I was referred to Nicki and from the first meeting she understood what I was looking for and set out to find it. Due to back order on the quartz I selected (as most supplies are these days), Nicki was in constant communication with updates. The install team was on time, courteous and respectful of my space. I HIGHLY recommend.

From the moment I stepped in the door of this place Nikki made me feel like family. They didn't waist my time or show me anything I wasn't interested in. She asked for material preference and color scheme and immediately took us off to the warehouse to were she took time to understand our likes and dislike and we found the stone we fell in love with.

The install crew was polite professional and a lot of fun to talk with. Install went flawless and they did a amazing job. I would absolutely recommend Nikki and team to anyone I know. Wonderful and quick turnaround. I contacted Ali to assist with granite installation for a home we're selling. She was able to get everything set up and the installation complete within 2 weeks. All appointments made were on time and the actual installation was quick and easy. I like that the contract laid out everything for us and there were no questions or gray areas. Will definitely do business with them again.

Working with Universal Stone was easy, professional, and resulted in a great end product. We had some custom built-in cabinets made and Universal Stone provided the Calcutta Maya quartz tops. They came to measure for the template and the installation was done about a week and a half later. Their installers were right on time and left our home clean and new counters looking great.

Universal Stone provided the most competitive price for our job and we are extremely please with the experience. We will certainly use them again in the future for any quartz counter needs!

Nicki showed us a piece of fantastic leathered marble, which we immediately chose for our bar project! The slab was large enough that we could create both levels of our bar from it for fluid veining from one level to the next. The installers were wonderful - professional, personable, and GREAT at what they do. They allowed me to shadow them through the cutting and installation process, kindly answering my questions, and teaching me about what they do.

During installation, I realized that one section of the counter would require an unplanned grommet hole. They asked for my opinion for location and size, and made great recommendations for size. They cleaned up the minimal mess that was made during a couple of small inside cuts (including the grommet hole). They kindly installed our sink, sealed the marble, and let me know to allow the sealant to set a couple of days before use. The counters look flawless. The price was on-point. We could not be happier!
