I had a Rigid R4513 portable table saw with an abhor bearing going out. I called Rigid and was told to call and set up an appointment to have my tool looked at as part the Lifetime Service Agreement. So I called this place and the guy says that any inspection would be a $60 minimum, non-refundable fee, not including parts and labor. I explained to him the problem I was having and the abhor bearing sounding like the grinding of rocks.
He says unless the bearing "exploded" the grinding sound is from poor maintenance. From this point I figured he doesn't know what he's talking about because the bearing is completely enclosed in the gear box on one side and covered with the bearing cap on the other. The only way to have maintained that bearing would have been to dissemble and remove the bearing from the gear box thus voiding the warranty.
I was eventually able to get my table saw repaired with purchasing the $5 bearing online and then taking that along with the bearing assembly, to a nearby machine shop. There, they were able to swap out the old with the new and did it for free! I'll be writing to Rigid to consider changing who they have as their authorized repair center here in the Portland Metro area.

High prices and a bad attitude. Employees are condescending. Like they even talk down when explaining tool features during sales. It's like going to a jerk mechanic when you need repairs done with how pushy they can be. I've heard that warranties aren't honored for repairs done here. Don't buy tools here because of the service.

I would never go back in there or recommended any one to go they don't keep there words on the warranty they gave you so I had to pay for my nail gun again after I already paid for it to get it fix and it didn't got fix so I took it back and they ended up charging me another 100 cus supposedly they had to fix another part from my nail gun.

I strongly recommend O'Neills Tools. Matt is a tool repair guru. He's been fixing our company's nail guns, compressors and saws for many years now. Fast turn around and fair pricing makes this our "go to" shop for tool repair. We also purchase new and reconditioned equipment from O'Neills with warranties that are covered in-house. They stand behind their tools and repairs. Even fresh donuts on Mondays, can't ask for much more!
