In 1969, Residential Fences Corp (RFC) opened for business installing fences for residential customers across Long Island. We were a small family owned and operated business with a simple philosophy. At Residential Fence every aspect of the work we accomplish is a reflection of our professionalism, high-standards and excellent craftsmanship.
Chain-link fencing is probably the most common fence around. It can be seen at athletic fields and parks, industrial and commercial facilities, as well as many homes. It is held in high regard for its strength, durability and low maintenance and is an affordable fence solution. Galvanized residential chain-link fence systems have been used for decades to define property lines, as well as protect and add value to property.
At RFC, our master craftsmen are professional woodworkers and highly skilled in all aspects of custom-wood fabrication. Our custom-wood fences, which are manufactured at our on-site facility, are comprised of only the best grade woods and top-quality hardware, ensuring a long-lasting, trouble-free installation.
Our ornamental estate, iron and aluminum fencing creates an impression of grand stature around your property. Whether you choose a traditional style or a more ornate custom design, the end result is the addition of refined strength to any property. Swing and slide gate options add to the security around your home and can be outfitted with access-control systems to enhance your security and provide you with peace of mind.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY unless you want to face fines and trouble from your neighbors like my neighbor. At 0645 they fired up their chain saws and started cutting down his old fence. Their response to complaints from the neighbors was to stand there revving their chain saws at them. BAD COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH.

Quick & efficient! Both crews that were at my parents house were the absolute best. They took their time, paid attention to every detail, they cleaned up any mess that was made. They interacted with my Dad throughout the entire process and made my parents extremely happy with the finished product. Definitely recommend calling them for any fencing needs!

RFC recently replaced my wood fence with a Scalloped PVC. Dealing with Tom was a great experience. He was knowledgeable and got our order in right away. Stephanie, in the office was also a pleasure to deal with. The crew who came to do our job, led by Mario were nothing short of amazing. They took the time to walk our property with us, see exactly where we wanted to put our fence on each side and while doing the job you could tell that they were paying very close attention to detail.
The service was prompt, the price was right, and we are very happy with our overall experience with RFC. Should we ever need any other fencing done, we know who we will be calling. I highly recommend this company.

RFC salesman Tom was top tier. We loved dealing with him. The woman in the office, Stephanie was also a pleasure to deal with. The crew who came to our house led by Mario was amazing. They took the time to understand where we wanted to place our fences, and which way we wanted our gates to swing. They also showed us everything they did as soon as they were done. That way we had an understanding of how our new fences worked. Truly an amazing job and if we should ever want to fence anything off in our backyard, we will be calling RFC!

We are totally disappointed with the lack of customer service from Residential Fence. We contracted with them for a small job, 4 sections of gate to enclose the backyard, 3 months ago. At the time we were told it would be 6 to 8 weeks. As of yesterday, I have cancelled the job since they cannot give me an install date. No one calls us back and the person answering the phone had the nerve to tell me that they were getting a run around from their suppliers.
My feeling is that they don't want to be bothered with a small job. I will be going there today to get my deposit back. Since I'm not able to respond to the owners response, let me just say that at least he responded. It's a shame it had to come to this level to get a response after weeks of phone calls. Amendolas Fence can have the custom pieces we need ready in 3 weeks.

Had a fence installed this morning. We had gotten a quote a few weeks ago from Frank. He came 2x to give us the estimate as we changed our minds 2x. They had us scheduled for next week but had an opening and called us right away. They were so patient and kept us in the loop about times. They had an awesome crew come out today and the fence looks amazing! 10/10 if you need a fence done these are the guys to go with.

After seeing the work they did on my neighbors fence, I contacted RFC about replacing a section of my failing stockade fence with vinyl. Getting a quote and working with Frank to get me on the schedule was quick and easy. The crew who did the work was top notch and did a great job. Will definitely hire again to replace my last section of old stockade.

I have used RFC more than once and would use them again. Their prices are reasonable and the installation was very professional. I enjoyed working with Dave (salesman). He is easy to work with and very responsive. Vinny who was in charge of the install was great to work with as well. Overall a great experience and will definitely recommend to others.

We recently did some training for RFC. I know most reviews are for customers purchasing, but I want to make a positive review on the people running the business. VERY professional. Very Communicative, and easy to work with. They obviously care about their employees, which extends to the safety of any customer's on their property. Investing in safety means less product damage and injuries which results in their ability to keep fair prices as they are on top of their costs, which means better pricing for customers. We know that the same professionalism they give the back office continues on to the customer.

What can I say but I had a great experience dealing with Tom Kolb and everyone else from RFC. The company was great keeping in contact with me and arriving early for the estimate and install. The workmanship and materials were all top notch. I am very happy with everything and I'm very glad I chose RFC to do all my fencing. ****This review was originally posted on YELP on 9/5/2017 and reposted on Google to reach a larger audience*****

My husband made an appointment to have a aluminum fence / driveway gate installed at our home. He spoke to the owner, who was referred to us by the mason, Sal, who did our driveway. The driveway was great so we trusted his recommendation. They came to measure and gave a reasonable estimate. We agreed to go with them for the fence, and then something horrible happened.
While on my way to work, one of this company's drivers aggressively tailgated me. I video taped him and contacted the owner to advise what happened. He was with complete disinterest. I told him that after I passed one of his drivers at a point where two lanes merged into one, his driver became annoyed that someone went in front of him, and the driver proceeded to tailgate me for another 5 miles or so up middle country Road.
I tapped my break a couple of times to let the driver know to give me some more space, at which point he proceeded to ride inches from the back of my car with the huge commercial truck and continue to honk at me, while I drove with the flow of traffic with about 10 cars in front of me, which made it impossible for me to go faster even if I wanted to.
I took video of the entire incident to show this drivers aggression, and when I called the company to complain, the owner got on the phone to tell me that he already got the version of the story from his other driver, who is blaming me for cutting him off, when in fact the truth is that it was two lanes merging into one and I was driving faster and managed to pull ahead.
No illegal moves there, but his driver was just simply an ass. The owner couldn't care less, only defended his driver, despite not being there, and had no interest in seeing the actual video of the way his driver was behaving. At this point the owner didnt realize that I was someone scheduled to have them work at my house. God forbid we didn't like something, he doesn't seem to care about anything.
His disinterest in the way that his workers treat his vehicles or the public shows a lack of good business tactics, and I wouldn't want to count on this company to do anything at my home. Needless to say my husband canceled the job when I told him how I was treated.

Great company to do business with. Extremely professional employees and salesman. Salesman keeps in touch with you and follows up to make sure everything turned out perfect. Workers that came to install our fence showed up right on time and did an incredible job from beginning to end. I highly recommend RFC to anyone looking to have a fence or gate installed. We are so very happy with the job they did! Thank you Tom!

Would have given zero stars but yelp has a minimum requirement. Had a fence installed by Residential Fence Corp. some time back and had a significant problem with the installation. The owner, Anthony Gulino came by, acted all mafia like, threatening and hostile and refused to rectify the problem even though it was quite obvious to everyone who saw the fence.
His crew was drunk when they installed it too. My advise is to stay far away from this crook and his strong-arm tactics. He thinks he is well connected but his connection to corrupt Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano was exposed when the D.A. office disclosed that he helped Mangano launder money. Read the 3/14/18 Newsday article entitled, "Singh laundered money for Mangano, prosecutors allege" in which Gulino is clearly mentioned.
Think twice when you see his sign affixed on any gov't fence (town, county or otherwise) because they were likely contracted with a payoff. As far as residential work.buyer beware.

I cannot say enough about RFC. Tom Kolb and everyone else there have been absolutely great. I am so glad I went with their high-end, high-quality PVC fencing, gates & arbor in my front yard. I have never had any major problems with this fencing, and every time I have ever had a minor problem, RFC has always "been there" to help me out. As a single mom, I have greatly appreciated their attentiveness and helpful services.
I know I can always count on RFC! My PVC fencing is very attractive & was a major selling point (my house was listed for only 9 days before it sold. I am moving in a few days). I have had the fencing for more than 8 years and have had it steam-cleaned several times by L.I. Powerwashing (also very good). He uses only a very hot, very high pressure steam-cleaner.
The first time he commented on how good the quality of the fencing was, saying he'd had occasional problems with cheaper, low-quality fencing that had chipped due to the high pressure or lost its color or sheen after washing. (I have the fencing cleaned about once every 2 years; it always comes out looking like it's brand new). This week, our neighborhood was deluged by 13.5" of rain in less than 24 hours. ours was one of the hardest-hit neighborhoods on Long Island.
Several of my neighbors had PVC or wood fences that were totally destroyed. My neighbor across the street and I, who used RFC for our fences, both have standing fences in excellent condition. I have two small fill-in boards at the bottom of the fence in the very front that came loose (due to Hummers and large trucks that kept driving through 5' of water in the road, creating huge waves that hit my fence in the front yard).
I called Tom K. two days ago and he said he will be here tomorrow to fix my neighbor's gate & re-attach the 2 loose boards in my front yard. As busy as they must be after this major storm, I think that's fantastic service. I have also used RFC to replace the spruce fencing in my backyard. (If I were staying in NY for a much longer time, I would definitely have sprung for the more expensive PVC all around my yard.) Since I knew I was moving soon, I decided to do one more spruce fence (which should last about 6-7 years). RFC nearly matched the lowest bid I got from another fencing company, and since I knew I could trust them, I went with RFC to re-do the backyard fencing this time.
They also did a good job with the wooden fencing. If you want cheap fencing, go to Home Depot or somewhere else. But if you want quality fencing and great people who will go that extra mile to help you when you need it, then definitely go to RFC.

I went in expecting a typical fence place wit dirty dingy shelves filled with indecipherable parts. Was a found was a high end professional fence installation company that still took the time to help me with my minor problem. If this is the way the treat someone with no previous relationship who only needed $20 worth of parts I've gotta assume that "real" customers get the red carpet treatment. If you are in the market for a fence and like nice friendly service, you've gotta give these folks a shot.
