Our main quarry has been in operation since 1758. He had just returned home from flying B17's over Europe in World War II. The Lt. Colonel purchased America's oldest operating quarry which had been operating since 1758, on the banks of the Delaware River, in Bucks County, PA.

Q: How many pounds are in a ton? A: There are 2,000 pounds in a ton. Q: How much does a pallet of stone weigh? A: Depending on the type of material on the pallet, a pallet of stone weighs between 1 and 1 1/2 tons. Most of our stone products are packaged on 1 1/2 ton pallets. Q: Are all of your stone yards open to the public?

Let me just say- haven't actually purchased anything. But if you are looking to get a quote on aggregate (like I have been for the past hour and fifteen minutes), this place ACTUALLY ANSWERS THE PHONE. What a treat. They gave me a quote including material, delivery, and tax in less than two minutes.

Went there today on the off chance they would sell individual stones for a project I was working on in my house. I love was looking for a stone for a shelf in my bathroom. The place was busy with people asking for all sorts of items but there were plenty of people working. I was only buying one or two stones but I was treated with just as much patience and made to feel just as important someone purchasing multiple pallets. I ended up with a free sample and the representative made me feel like I could come back with any weird question I may come up with. Top notch customer service!
