Bertolet Construction

Founded by Tom Bertolet in 1975, we began modestly as Bertolet Cement Contractors with just Tom's sturdy back and his green pickup truck. In 1988, Bertolet Cement Contractors became Bertolet Construction, focusing on building commercial buildings, renovations, site work, and roadwork. Today, Bertolet Construction has grown to be a full-service general contractor for Industrial, Commercial, Municipal and Community-based customers. Our success has come largely through solid relationships with repeat customers throughout the county.

Headquartered just west of Reading, Pennsylvania, Bertolet Construction provides a wide range of general contracting services for small, mid-sized, and large businesses and institutions in southeastern Pennsylvania.

Our subcontractors are integral members of our construction team, and we value the long-term relationships we have with them. We rely on subcontractors that have the proven methods and expertise required to follow all safety precautions while remaining on-schedule. Our seasoned material suppliers play an important role in determining materials of choice and helping us understand cutting edge installation techniques.

Our customers' safety and our workers' safety are our priority. All of our workers have completed our extensive safety training programs. Additionally, we have an internal Safety Committee that keeps us on top of any changes in federal, state, county, and municipal laws related to safe working environments.
