Customer service in definite need of improvement. I am a contractor and brought a window to be repaired. I was told it would take a week or so. After the second week of no response I called and found out that the window was completed and had been sitting in their office for a week. They did not notify me that it was finished. When I followed up, they claimed to have tried to call, but that my phone was out of service.
I explained this was impossible, as I had gotten dozens of calls everyday. They responded very rudely basically accusing me of lieing. This is what really rubbed me the wrong way. Mistakes happen, take responsibility, and it would've been fine. Or if you called as you claimed and if by some crazy fluke of a cell tower being down or something happened.
Why had you not tried again to call? Also them not being open on the weekend means I still have to wait till Monday to pick up the window. So 21 days without a window. That is not good. If I hadn't followed up would they have just let it sit there indefinitely? It was bad service, but their response was unacceptable and I will not use their business again, and would not recommend them to anyone.
