We ordered 3 pieces of glass to place on top of our end tables from the Troy location. We were very disappointed when we brought them home. They were varied sizes and did not have a clean finish. We called and were told to bring them to the Piqua location. We explained what we were wanting and they cut new pieces of glass for us. Hats off to the two ladies who helped us. We are so pleased with our glass tops. We appreciate the time and patience you took to make sure we were happy.

Critical: Value Had them install a storm picture window. Just put up the tempered glass in an existing frame. Was $320 for 45 min of work? The guys who did the work were great but $80/hr each for 1 semi skilled and 1 unskilled laborer. I was robbed. Service: Installation

I needed some plexiglass cut to fit a sunroof. We paid in advance and was treated with respect by the service man. We were told they would have it completed the next business day and would call to let us know to pick it up. It's been 5 business days and no phone calls. I guess if we were an million dollar business we would be treated better. But it doesn't seem their workshop small jobs matters to them. Would like to know if they would even care to read this and what they'll do about this so no one else has the same issue.

I can't speak as to the comment about not paying their vendors, but I'm suspicious of the comment that the owner drives around in a blue Ferrari. It's not a Ferrari but a blue Porsche. I was just in the shop two hours ago. What's the difference, Jason M may ask? Well, about $100.000, Jason! If you want to trash someone, get your facts straight. It's difficult to believe anyone that trashes someone on hearsay but doesn't know the difference to the "evidence" he DOES use. Google Reviews is intended to give others some insight on how how well a business does their work, and by all accounts other people seem to think Hemm Glass does it well, at a fair price.

What does Jason M's rant have to do with how well they do their work? It sounds as if he has an axe to grind. Well fine, Jason, maybe write a letter to the Pope, but Google Reviews is not for the purpose of accessing someone's moral character. I think you knew that car wasn't a Ferrari, but by doubling it's perceived value, you're attempting to manipulate MY perception to further YOUR vendetta. Google Reviews is not your personal soapbox.but then, I think everyone reading your review already knew that.

They made us a mirror which I immediately proceeded to break. We were on a time crunch and they were able to get me another one fixed up within 20 minutes. Really appreciate it guys!

As a vendor for this organization, I have to say Hemms is one of the worst clients we have. They owe us a large amount and are refusing to pay more than half of it. We will be taking this to court if no other reason than on principle. The owner runs around in a blue Ferrari and can't / won't pay their vendors? That's not right at all. Steer clear of these guys.

I had to take a 70+ year old window to Have the original glass replaced. The service was professional, courteous, and reasonably priced. The only mark against them is that it would have been nice to receive a phone call letting me know the work had been completed.

In July of 2014, my car's windshield was struck and cracked by a rock-throwing semi tractor trailer. I was recommended by my insurance company to visit Hemm's Glass in Piqua, Ohio to have a new one installed. Unfortunately, this long-standing, local business let me down with their long work times, low quality work, and poor customer service. I made an appointment with Hemm's Glass and made arrangements with a friend to drop off and pick up the car for me while I traveled out of town.

After returning from my trip, I had an opportunity to inspect the car and Hemm's work. I was disappointed with what I found. I found that my windshield wiper sprayers were not connected, parts were missing, paint was scratched and chipped, interior trim did not fit, interior trim was damaged, and numerous spots of black glue were found on the paint around the windshield.

I was leaving the next day for another trip and was not able to contact Hemm's for an explanation. On my trip home, I was traveling on a Canadian highway at 60 MPH in a rainstorm when all of a sudden my wiper arms crossed and stopped working. Luckily enough, I was able to pull over the the side of the road safely. I found that both nuts that fasten the wiper arms to the mechanism were over a full turn out.

One can imagine my displeasure. After returning home, I visited the shop and spoke with a manager. He agreed to get the car in the next day to correct the issues with the car. After having the car almost the entire day, I called to check progress. I was told that the car had been ready, but they were waiting to call me. When I arrived to pick up the car, the paint was still scratched, chipped, and the damaged interior trim was untouched.

I told the manager I was still unhappy with my experience and the shop's work and I wanted a refund to fix my damaged vehicle. He told me that he would speak with the owner, Mr. Hemm, check company policy and get back with me. Two days later, I receive a call from the manager. I was told that they felt that the job was completed, my situation had been rectified and I was not to receive any kind of compensation.

A sign in their work area states: Remember It's Safety, Quality, & Quantity In That Order. I feel that my experience was the complete opposite of this mission statement. So. Long story short. If you intend on using this company, be cautious and be sure to inspect their work.

Hemm's Glass (Piqua) did an unprofessional windshield installation and is not willing to replace a part damaged during windshield installation. 1) I set up an appointment for windshield replacement mid-August, 2014. They called the day before and said the windshield had not come in yet. 2) Rescheduled for September 02. 3) When I went to pick up the vehicle.the work was not complete and a trim piece above the windshield was broken (the service person said they would order the part and call me when in).

In addition, the headliner was dirty and there were gouges on the dash. I should have been concerned when the service person said he had never encountered this type of vehicle (2013 Toyota FJ) and had to search Youtube for installation instructions. 4) I called a week later and was told Toyota had not got back with them. 5) I made multiple calls over the next four weeks and each time given a lame excuse (such as the office floor was being painted and he couldn't get to the file cabinet to call me).
