Ordered 5 scales and 5 blocks for knife making and the wood was quite unprotected in shipping package. Chips and dents on every single piece of wood. Thought it was from shipping but there are defects on sections that were touching flat against other flat sections. Its disappointing that they would send me pieces with defects but it might be enough to sand through, though my red palm scales are useless due to way too many defects. Looking for quality pieces of wood so I can make quality products, for that reason I will hesitate before ordering from this company again.

Ok, I am new to doing business with Bell. However, my second ever order has a mix up. An expensive piece for a cheap piece. I look for contact information and all I can find is a phone number for sales. No email, no contact besides sales? It's not like $250 is a huge fortune, but it's not nothing. I was hoping to find a decent retailer, and they believe they can take advantage of me. I don't like that one bit.

Ive had more problems trying to purchase from this website than any other. (Banking issues) Thanks to Eric, ive gotten a LOT more help from him than from the numerous people i talked to at my bank. I ordered their Roubo workbench package. I was not disappointed. Placing the order was easy. I filled out the form online and Eric contacted me within 24 hours. In no time, I had the exact price (including shipping). After calling around to some local suppliers, I realized that Bell Forest Products was at least on par with my local suppliers even after taking shipping into account. Additionally, I had them plane and straight-line rip my order and still came in a competitive price.

All in all, the lumber itself was in a great shape. There were some defects and some checking, but nothing out of the ordinary for such a large project. The defects and checking were easy to cut around and did not make for much waste at all (
