I love this place. Sarah helped us and she was so knowledgeable and so friendly. She listened to our needs and our likes and dislikes and steered us to a few options. Then she told us the prices so that we could make a decision around that. She was just so helpful that it made choosing the stone very simple and easy. I never expected it to be simple or easy.
They had a wide selection although not everything was in stock because of the pandemic but that's to be understood. We are definitely going to buy our stones for the new patio from this store

Horrible customer service! My mason referred me to J&J with specifics on what to pick out for my project. After being completely ignored at the counter for 10 minutes without even being acknowledged by 2 staff members finally another person came to assist. She was brand new and tried her very best to assist us. When she asked her coworkers questions to help us the two gentlemen didn't want to help her or us.
When asking to see a specific product in the yard the gentleman looked disgusted and refused to go outside with us to assist. All around horrible experience. Rudest counter people I've ever encountered. (With the exception of the new employee who did try very hard to help us).

They have a form on their website where you can submit a request/quote for mulch. However, they don't actually receive these requests in Plymouth location per what Andrea tells me when I call 2 days later. No apologies, just "you are better off calling" No indication they are working on resolving the problem. Terrible customer service. Will not be their customer again, which is unfortunate because I always had good results back when they were Balboni's

Let me start off the review on a positive note by saying that their yard appears to be nicely organized and very well-kept. I first visited there last fall to buy a small quantity of gravel (a few 5-gallon buckets' worth). They even let me borrow one of their shovels to fill my buckets. It was a nice, smooth transaction. So, I remembered them, and stopped there today, looking to buy a small quantity of loam (again, a few 5-gallon buckets' worth).
This time, the woman in the office, who I presume was one of the owners, flat-out refused to sell me anything less than a half-yard of loam, which was way more than I wanted or needed. She blamed it on their insurance company regulations. Well, whatever, that's fine, but then she suggested that I buy a bag of loam from a big box store or nursery.
I replied that I had never seen any bagged loam. bagged topsoil or garden soil, yes, but bagged loam - well, that's a big negative. She then insulted my intelligence by saying that some people call loam or topsoil the same thing. Okay, I'm in the plumbing and heating business, and some people call a boiler a furnace, and it's NOT the same thing.

We ordered some landscaping flagstone from C & A. When delivered they brought the wrong pallet. when they were informed of this the delivery guys were a bit upset which I can understand.but why was this my fault? They loaded the material back up on their truck and drove back. When my wife called to find out if we can get the stone we paid for the owner was rude and acted like we were being overly picky. I'm sorry, but when I select a particular colour of flagstone and what shows up is different, it does NOT fall on me.
The owner swore at my wife and raised his voice over the situation. When I called to confront him, he used the same language. When I started to match his tone he uttered some fighting words and then hung up. Mulch 'N More opened a location literally next door and is doing a booming business. if this doesn't tell you that the residence of Coventry know how crappy C & A is I am not sure what will. Avoid this place and drive the extra 1/4 block and go to Mulch 'N More or another landscaping material lot.
