Services
Wood floors come in a variety of species. Each provides a look that is unique to itself with its own color and physical characteristics. Some species are light, like maple, some are medium, like oak, and some are dark, like walnut. Each species also possesses natural characteristics that are inherent to its' appearance, like knot holes, mineral streaks or grain variations. With unfinished wood flooring, your installer will sand the wood and apply the finish on the job site. There are several finish options available.
Penetrating Finish (Stain) 1 Gallon DuraSealA Penetrating Finish is a semi-transparent stain formulated to seal, color and provide exceptional durability when used on bare wood and masonry surfaces. This rich blend of oil and resin gives hardwood floors a soft, satiny sheen. Available in colors to match any decor, DuraSealA Penetrating Finish creates a bond with the wood that won't scratch or wear away. Can be used with or without a finish coat. Bona Traffic Bona Traffic is a waterborne, commercial and residential hardwood floor finish.

I have been buying at this location since day one, but have been a 22 year customer and always have had great service. Now under new management things have gotten better. prices have dropped and a great location from I- 75. New show room and many prefinish sample at display why shop anywhere else when you can get all you need at one stop.

These guys were recommended to me by a contractor who specializes in historic restorations. I called them up to discuss my house, and they connected me through to their colleague who could best answer my questions. He was in Macon, but they put me through to Macon. The guy in Macon gave more lots of his time an then recommended a floor restorer back in Atlanta.
I ended up working with that outfit (The Joy of Flooring -- very good.) Georgia Oak Floor is the kind of place where life-time flooring experts do their best to help you out. Profits are not the first thing on their mind; quality of service is. Although I never purchased anything from them (nor did I even go to their store!) they gave me outstanding service.
