Essex Concrete Corporation has top quality concrete and has been developing mix designs for residential and commercial jobs since, 1965. Our quality control department has over 50 years of experience. We operate 7 plants, use state-of-the-art Command Alkon Technology Software for all our concrete batching; to ensure our customers are getting precisely what they order.
Why Stamped Concrete Instead of the Original Surfaces? Stamped concrete involves pouring slab concrete for driveways, walkways, patios, etc., and then impressing both patterns and textures onto the concrete before it is fully dry. For many years, a lesser form of stamped concrete was often seen that merely duplicated patterns.
This Calculator is provided to assist in estimating how many yards of concrete may be needed for your project. NOTE: A number of factors can influence the exact quantities needed for your particular job. You are encouraged to work with our Essex Concrete Dispatchers for more exact product estimates.
Yard blocks can be used in a wide variety of ways, they can be interlocked to contain certain materials such as agricultural products and aggregate, or can be used for a retaining wall, temporary blockade or erosion control. Due to the way our yard block is designed they can be readily connected, interlocked, and stacked to make a wall in a matter of minutes.

Got a quote, then called back two days later to set up the delivery for that Friday and they told me it had went up almost $150 from the original quote! They're reasoning was for taxes. Well I added it all up and come to find out it was not taxes as taxes were already added in. They were trying to charge extra fuel and delivery charges. Then the other guy slipped up and told me taxes were already factored in there so I knew they were lying.
After I caught them in a lie they got very irate on the phone. I told them if they'd just split the difference I would just pay it because I already had the workers set up. They told me they weren't changing the price and I could do one of two things. 1. Pour the concrete and pay for it. Cause they weren't changing the price or 2. Cancel the order!
The whole time he was EXTREMELY rude and belittling to me! I run a business and it was awful I would never treat my customer like that. Especially if they were spending that kind of money with me (Over $3K). I would have at least tried to help them out a little to not lose the job completely. Instead not only did he not offer to help he belittled me while talking to me. And it wasn't just one person but two. Rodney was one then a second person I didn't catch the name!
