Dominion Floor Covering

Wonderful experience! From walking into the showroom to installation of my hardwood floors I have nothing but praise! I highly recommend Dominion Flooring!

We tried to get quotes from two other local companies but after they came and took measurements that was the last we heard from them. But Nick at Dominion sent a quote the same day he took the measurements and we were on the schedule within a couple of weeks. The installers did a great job - they were professional, friendly and completely cleaned up before they left.

They were a pleasure to have in our home. The carpet looks great and the price was very competitive. We will definitely be back when we need more flooring work done! Highly recommend!

Update: after another appointment everything got taken care of, the bubble and closet were fixed. Customer service was great just had issues with the initial instillation. Might I suggest you select a different installer In December of '21 we came in to get the three rooms done in our home. Rather than go with a box store we wanted to choose a local business, a decision we've come to regret. Selecting and ordering our carpet went well, thus the two stars.

The sales rep was helpful and accommodating, however instillation has been rough to say the least. On the day of instillation they put a lower quality pad down. We brought this to their attention and they brought back our correct high quality pad. An honest mistake. We gave them the transition strips to match the existing flooring which they left to the side once done and left us unfinished edges, despite the sales reps reassurance that the installers would put them down.

The installers said they didn't know anything about that. When we attempted to pay the installers said they didn't have an invoice so the sales office would contact us. After three weeks, we finished the carpet ourselves by putting down the transition strips. We thought, like the big box stores we had worked with in the past a sales rep or super would come and inspect the final project, and get the final payment.

When no one came we re-examined the contract/receipt to see if we missed some step. With the treat of a late fee in the contract looming, we contacted them to pay. They didn't know we had never been contacted, another honest mistake? When we brought the last payment in good faith, we said the carpet was coming up in a closet and we had the beginnings of a ripple.

They happily took the final payment and said their installers would be out the following Monday. Shocking no one, here we are me with a ripple in a closet with out help. Lowes and home depot have 18 month financing and will send a contractor to double check their work. Save money and time, go to the box store.

Overall great experience with this company.they do what they say at a very fair price.who could ask for more. They beat the other bid we obtained and were timely and professional at ordering, receiving, and installing the carpet.

Our salesman Nick, was very helpful in identifying the best carpet for our needs. Our selection was such an upgrade in quality, that whenever we walk on it, we have to smile. Family and friends have raved about the look and feel of the carpet. We carpeted 60% of the house, very pleased with the job. Eric the lead installer, and his colleague were hardworking, and professional. Furniture was moved quickly and safely, and returned to their spots upon completion of the job. We'd recommend DFC to anyone seeking quality, economy & great service.

Dominion was amazing to work with. We did a home remodel and Nick helped us from start to finish, making sure the carpet was in on time and installed at the time the contractor said. Installation was done in a day and the end result was beautiful. Would recommend them 10 times over!

They were courteous and professional at all times. The flooring is beautiful and the workers wee efficient, friendly and fast. I had minimal inconvenience. They even liked my dog and plugged my tv back in so it was functional.

We needed to have our floors replaced due to poor job done by previous installer and contacted John to start the process. He was very helpful from start to finish and his crew came and did an amazing job putting the vinyl planks. We were really impressed with the quality of their work and we will definitely reach out to finish our dining room. We recommend going with dominion floor covering if you want to be ensured your floors are done properly.

After reviewing many companies to include the big box stores, we decided to hire Dominion Flooring to purchase and install our new flooring. Our 1st visit to the store we met Johnny Campbell, Manager who spent all the time we needed and answered all our questions. He even made some suggestions on the type of flooring that would fit into our budget.

Several weeks later, after seeing other stores, we went back to Dominion Flooring, but this time were greeted and serviced by Dominic, the Founder. He spent about 1/2 hr. with us and again made suggestions of flooring. We scheduled a measurement visit and took several samples home. Dominic himself came out and took measurements, answering all questions and discussed the different types of flooring.

We decided on Armstrong Luxurious Vinyl Plank Tropical Oak, because of its durability and being waterproof; as we also installed in the kitchen. The installers called beforehand and showed up on time. I was totally impressed with Steve and Ronnie, they came to work; originally scheduled 3 days, they managed to finish in 2 days. They were very careful with our furniture and really cleaned up afterwards.

You could not ask for anyone more professional, courteous and knowledgeable then Steve and Ronnie. Quality of work is exceptional. I have 3 more rooms that I will have done at a later date and will certainly go back to Dominion Flooring. Thanks again Dominic, Steve and Ronnie, for a very pleasurable experience and one great looking floor.

Overall happy with the level of service we received from dominion. They were a to get carpet that wasnt even in the showroom and beat the price of another local store. Recommended to some others have experienced the same.

Our company has used Dominion for years so when it came time for us to replace our personal carpet, I called Dominion. From beginning to end, working with these great guys, it was a complete and total pleasure! Our carpet is beautiful and of great quality, the installers were just the best, and we could not be happier! Our only regret is that we didn't do this sooner!

I've had some experiences both good and bad with services in my life. My time with Dominion is absolutely at the top of that list. I went to them seeking advice as well as product. The owner, Dominic, more than happily spent the time to get to know us and our home. He recommended providers for additional work. When it was time for the new wood floor to go in, his team was very timely and respectful of our space.

They have a reputation for excellence that's well deserved. I am very happy with the wood floor they installed. It looks great! Best of all, I feel like I placed my trust in the right folks. That's a rare feeling for me.

After moving here from Boston, I touched base with Dominion Flooring because they were close. I really lucked out with these guys (John). Very professional and straight forward. They came out to my place to measure and then I went to their showroom to pick the materials we wanted. They let me take several samples home to lay on my floors to see what we liked best. I would highly recommend Dominion Floors to anyone!

I went to this store numerous times for the fact that it had a large selection to choose from. Dominic and John were always pleasant to deal with. Until I went to sign the contract and it wasn't itemized. John was the main person who had been helping me and he was the one that did the contract. He had to leave but before doing so I questioned something and he dismissed me. Dominic asked John to itemize it and it was sent to my email the next day.

When I read the contract the figures were not adding up. So I called John and questioned the materials cost. I knew what the material cost plus the square footage was. He told me that there was a $25 delivery fee and it was added into the material cost before the taxes were added. I'm confused. Why charge a delivery fee if you are going to install the product?

Then I asked about the labor costs and again I knew the pricing info. I was dismissed again! I was told that everything was included in the total price. That is not what I asked. So to this day I don't know what the extra charge was for. The contract was extremely overpriced. I've haven't been back into the store or called. I would have thought that they would've at least call me to find out what the heck happened.

I called several places about getting my floors replaced after we had a flood caused by a water line leaking. Every other place I called was happy to give us an estimate without a problem. When Dominion heard that we were filing a claim with insurance they immediately jacked up their prices. They were the only company that I called that wanted to charge me $75 for just an estimate!

I want to Thank Dom so much for helping me pick out a new carpet to fit my Den. He was right on, even though I was a little Skeptical. Three cheers for Dominion Floors!
