West Valley Rock

Purchased two tons of rock from them to increase the depth of rock around my pool. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Rock matched perfectly to existing rock, would diffidently recommend West Valley Rock to anyone doing a rock project in the west valley. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I would not use these guys again. poor quality material, had to wait for them to come get it, after a salesman came out, agreed that it was not right, said that they'd be back "in a couple of hours" which then turned into " we have to find someone to bring it back" which ended up with me having to ask MY landscaper to take it back to them. it was just a huge pain. I did finally get the correct material. not happy with the service, wouldn't use again.

They lied to me on delivery charges. I got 23 tons of rock, on there website it said 25 dollar delivery its wrong its now 50 delivery and then a 50 dollar fuel charge that I was not told about and on top of the ridiculous 9.3 percent Buckeyes sales tax. I payed $180 in wasted money. I guess people's money trees grow fast in Arizona.

Absolutely horrible company. One of there trucks was driving on the 60 east in the fast lane. Rocks and gravel were flying out the bed of the truck. One of the rocks struck the windshield on my f250. I contacted the company within 10 minutes of it happening. They were closed so I left a message for someone to call me back the next business day. I waited the entire next day and no call.

I called them back and a lady answered. I explained the situation and she told me to email pictures and an explanation Of what happened. I did everything she asked and no response. I sent another email 3 days later and to date I have not heard a response. They were negligent in not making sure there trucks were not spraying rocks all over the freeway.

I can't believe they don't have the decency to even respond or reach out to fix the problem. At this point I'm going to keep pursuing to get my windshield replaced. This isn't the last they hear or this.

The delivery driver did not call or anything. I was sitting at home waiting on delivery and the idiot dropped it at the opposite end of my front yard when the rock was for the backyard. Called the office and the young lady that answered said I would get a call back. Never happened. This is my 4td time using them and this was the worst.

Their location is easily accessed and their setup is landscaped nicely with their different products identified by type on full display. The professional ladies inside make ordering rock easy. My 5 ton load was delivered on time and accurately. Will definitely go with West Valley Rock in the future.

This place is easy and very affordable even for a homeowner also commercial landscape. They have 4 quarrys around Arazona. You can put just a few select pieces or have a truck load delivered to you home. Even get rock that weighs as much as a car. Nice people!

Awesome experience! From the ladies at the service desk to the gentlemen driving the delivery trucks. The have great prices, and are always on time!

Had the manager not done the right thing this would have been a 1 Star, however he did! We ordered 20 large boulders, weighing 500-550lbs, for a project that needs large boulders. When they arrived and dumped the boulders 5 boulders were crumbled to pieces. They even asked me if I wanted to add sand to prevent rock damage. (Not sure if they included sand as weight.

I would clarify if ordering again). When I contacted the company they sent someone out who essentially called me a liar after trying to make it seem normal that they come busted up. He said "they are organic products. There is no way to prevent that" Needless to say, I got the manager involved and sent pictures as proof. He was kind enough to send me 7 more (2 extra in case any came broken).

It's nice to deal with a company that treats you great. I'm not saying everything is perfect, there were times I came to pick up some 1/4 minus that they were all out. I'm impressed with the service despite the imperfections. And I'm very impressed with the drivers of the front loaders: they are pretty accurate when they load up my truck with product. In short, every interaction with West Valley Rock has been pleasant and straight forward. Thanks, guys.

Had to order rock for my backyard and they were very helpful. I had a couple questions about the difference between the two different pea gravel and the gal was able to answer my questions fully. The prices were fair and comparable to other rock locations. Delivery to my area was free so that was a plus. I just went with the bare minimum for now until I figure out what I am doing design wise with my backyard but I feel like I got a great value for my money. Will definitely go back to again.

Went to West Valley Rock since I was told they have a vast selection of rock. Well they had 'tons and tons' of rock and boulders. Selected rock for a 'river bed' for property drainage and was completely satisfied in the choice and color. I will be returning to purchase rock, boulders and slate pavers to finish my backyard project.

We have been using West Valley Rock for our business needs for several years. I have nothing but great things to say about the owners, their staff, and their drivers. A very professional company to deal with and I hope to continue our relationship as I have many projects to complete over the next several years.

Being that i ordered 200tons of abc material for our company one would've thought that 3 trucks would have been more logical instead 2 trucks is what we got. first truck shows up 1-1/2 hour late while our tractor/ grader is waiting and charging. reached out to the indivdual who was assigned to our job 2-1/2 hours after the first truck arrived and was told that why didn't i call earlier ( like that would've change the truck arriving sooner) not looking for free material but anticipated a 1-2 hour break on final cost of material. poor customer service skills on this gentelman. hopefully this company has higher expectations for their company. unfortunately i will not order material again from them.

Had them deliver a small load once, and took my F-150 pickup there twice to get loads of dirt. Cheap close and friendly. In and out always in less than 20 minutes. Front end loader operator is very careful when loading your truck.

Disappointment. I spent several weeks sending pictures over email to confirm the size and type of rock to order so I could complete the cover for my yard. Email is challenging for this business, but eventually I was told a size and type. I immediately placed my order for 25 tons of rock, delivered on time. Of course the rock is two-three times too big.

I have to deal with it now that it has been spread. When trying to figure out what went wrong, I received a dismissive email faster than all others telling me I "got what I ordered." An apology and a coupon would ensure I return as a customer because I do need lots of pavers, but I will never again buy from this company.

I came in not sure what I needed and they helped me with my project needs to a 'T'. Described the job and they gave me the amount of rock I needed. It also beats the bag by bag from a home improvement store too. they do deliver
