Plinth blocks add a dramatic and finished look to your doorways or window casings. These solid wood plinth blocks are an attractive addition to finish out baseboard and wood trims. Select plinth blocks that are 1/4" wider and 1/4" thicker than the door casing. Use these solid wood plinth blocks in conjunction with rosette blocks on your door frames. The width and thickness of the plinth blocks and rosettes should match.

Victorian drop plinth blocks add a finished and classic look to your doorways or window casings. The blocks can be used as plinth blocks at the bottom of your door frame - OR turn them around - to use as rosettes at the top of your door frames or window casings. The top portion of this plinth block has a 2 bead cut pattern. As a rule of thumb, select plinth blocks that are 1/4" wider and 1/4" thicker than the door casing.
