Services
We are small, responsive and capable. Our materials have been used to build the Greenbrier valley since 1964, under the same management. Everywhere you look, our concrete, block and aggregate continue to perform as expected. Jobsite conditions, weather, perishable products and strict specifications can be expected to occasionally cause problems.
RBS Inc., Greystone Quarry is a West Virginia Division of Highways Approved Aggregate Source. Our native delivery capability is in the 20,000 ton*mile/day range, and we can deliver more with enough notice to coordinate with our trucking partners. In addition to most AASHTO sizes, we can produce sizes to meet your specific requirements, like causeway rip-rap in the 12" to 32" sizes, gabion stone in the 4" to 12" and virtually anything else. Our stone is notably free of mud, clay and deleterious materials.
Most farm and homeowner customers will be ordering aggregate from RBS Inc. in smaller quantities, typically one or two trucks at a time. Normally, heavy equipment is not on site, and the load may be tailgated onto the road or driveway. Our trucks normally deliver between 21 and 23 tons, and it is by far most economical to order in that quantity.
Fresh, Unhardened concrete is very alkaline, and can cause severe alkali burns to your skin and eyes. The bleed water is particularly alkali, and you need to change any clothes that get soaked with this water quickly. Wash exposed skin with soap and water. Concrete is a mixture of about 75% aggregate (60% coarse #57s and 40% sand), 15% Cement, and the remainder is water, air and admixtures.

Very overpriced delivery and hidden prices that they don't explain. The people in the office make up things to tell you why the price is so ridiculous. I was charged over 828 dollars for just 2.5 yds at 20 miles of travel. That was around 330 dollars a yd! Ridiculously pricing people every way they can! Do not recommend to anyone.
