Clearwater Pools

Critical: Quality, Value We have taken water samples twice to Clearwater and spent approximately $100 each time to try and resolve water clarity issues we have with our pool this year. After dumping $200 in chemicals into our pool, the clarity has NOT improved at all. I would not advise using this store for your water issues! Service: Swimming pool water analysis

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality Absolutely horrible service. They were dismissive and annoyed that I called to understand why they weren't able to open our pool on the scheduled day. They couldn't even give me a date in which they could open it. I'd look elsewhere. Service: General repairs & maintenance

Horrible place to work mailed my w-2 to an old address when i was let go for asking for time off to move into my new place didn't think i moved or forgot that's why i was let go idk but if you have a pool built from here add another 6 to 9 months on what is told to you

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness Beware. Requested service in April. They were not open yet. Understandable. Received a call back in May. They were busy and could not respond to my service call. The owner said - be patient. I called several times since. They NEVER called me back. It is mid-July. They lost a good customer.

Called ahead asking if a specific part was carried Was told that they did carry the part. Not exactly around the corner from me got there only to find out that no they did not carry what we needed. Staff was courteous, however very disappointing to get there to find out they did not have what I thought they did

I was referred to this business by Hayward for my pool heater warranty service. I would recommend shopping around. They came out to perform a service call, they said they diagnosed the problem and were ordering parts. 3 weeks later I heard nothing back. When I emailed them for status they told me i needed to replace the heater due to the size (which was sufficient and installed by my contractor). they said would cost 4000-5000 $$ which is outrageous. they failed to provide any evidence the heater was undersized so I shopped around. Another contractor came out, was very professional and explained the problem clearly. We decided to replace the heater and only cost $2800.

Critical: Professionalism We called as we are opening our new pool for the first time and wanted to get our water tested. The woman (Cathy) who answered the phone was so unhelpful and condescending we decided to drive twice as far rather than deal with rude, unprofessional "experts."

After reading reviews I was hesitant but they are close to our house and I wanted to give a small business the opportunity. We bought a home with a 20,000 gallon pool which we assumed needed A LOT of work. Clearwater Pools got everything handled for $100! They check the water samples for you on the spot. Service was really good - carried our items out to my truck since I had my hands full with our infant in the car seat. The sales woman was really informant and took the time time go over stuff with me even during closing time. We will be coming back.
