We started with general construction equipment rentals and some smaller heavy equipment rentals. As the business grew, we continued to add new equipment from Takeuchi, Husqvarna, Vermeer, BilJax, John Deere, and Barreto. Our staff looks forward to assisting you with all of your rental needs, answering questions, and showing you how all of our equipment works.
In 2004, we started to dabble in the decorative concrete business by renting stamps and selling colors and sealers. We have continued to build the decorative business by expanding into new products like acid stains, water-based stains, and garage floor coatings. We work with manufacturers like Brickform, Butterfield, SurfKoat, and Solomon Colors.

I started a house project a few months ago and have rented equipment from three different places in the last two months. The rental branch was by far the best experience with the nicest equipment and most knowledgeable staff. I was refinishing some hardwood floors, and the guys there knew exactly what I should do and the best way to use the equipment. I will be returning for more equipment in the future!

Was treated horribly in this business this morning and will never return. I came to rent a U-Haul van but ended up at the wrong place. I should have gone to the Benton Harbor U-Haul location, but the U-Haul site send me to the closest to my current location which was The Rental Branch. I entered the store with my mask on which is required. I walked up to the counter.
One person was helping a customer to my left and a person came out of an office in the back and asked what I needed. I told him I was there to pick up a U-Haul van. He told me I needed to wait for the other guy to finish with the customer. I said Thanks, and proceeded to open my phone to get the details of my rental reservation. Then he told me to GET BACK! Confused, I took a step back within inches of the line taped to the floor.
Again he told me to GET BACK! So I moved to where I was standing on the line on the floor and told him that. This whole time I was at least 8 feet from the other two people in the store. A third time he told me to GET BACK, I told him I was standing on the line on the floor. A fourth time he told me to GET BACK, this time aggressively pointing at me. SO I moved all the way back to the store entrance.
Only then he went back to his office glaring at me the whole time. Once the first customer was finished a few minutes later, he had to pass directly by me as I was standing in front of the door. The other person asked what I needed. It was then I discovered I was in the wrong location. They tried to get me to change my reservation and rent the U-Haul from them.
I couldn't get out of that place fast enough. I own a small retail business and would NEVER treat anyone that way. I have had to deal with all the mask and distancing rules in my own business. It's not always easy to remind customers about the new rules, but with a little understanding and humor, my customers have always been accommodating. There are two large round tables in The Rental Branch.
The first person could have invited me to sit down and wait to be helped, which would have put me 10 to 12 feet away from anyone else, but his GET BACK may as well have been GET OUT. I certainly got the message and the STAY OUT of the business forever.

I rented the aerator for the weekend and it was due Monday at 8am. Sunday afternoon when I was about 80% done the chain bound up. I called early Monday and in a couple hours the mechanic came out temporarily fixed the chain and FINISHED THE JOB HIMSELF! Find me a place with customer service like that!

I reserved a tow-behind concrete mixer from Taylor Rental. When I arrived to pick it up, it was broken. In a panic I called Rental Branch, who had me hooked up with a very capable machine in minutes. They explained how it worked and hooked it up to my hitch. We mixed 1800 lbs of concrete and with a fancy funnel could pour directly into the foundation tubes. Excellent service.

Rented a power washer and used a coupon for 50% off my first rental. The machine worked great, it seemed to be nearly new. The guys took the time to make sure I knew how to use it, and loaded it into my SUV. I used it on my deck.then the gutters.the patio.the driveway. I finally ran out of light. I rented it for a few more hours this morning and they honored the coupon again. Excellent experience and I will be back.

Loved it! My husband and I went to rent a tent, tables and chairs for our grandson's open house for his graduation. We were able to order and pay for it for the date we picked out, so we don't have to worry about it. They will even deliver it so we don't have to run and get it. They will come and pick it up too!

I called to ask about a sod cutter for a weekend project and got quoted a fair price on a 4-hour rental (I also appreciate that their equipment is listed with pricing on their website). When I came to pick up, I was in and out in ~5 minutes. I got help loading and got an overview on its use. The equipment was in great shape and worked very well. When I returned it, I was helped with unloading and was on my way in 2 or 3 minutes. Overall a great experience, and I'll definitely be back!

Equipment was run down and to the point of being dangerous when you operated it. When I brought it to the attention of the staff there only explanation was, hey it's a bad design. But then again I guess if the manager would get out of his chair and actually come in interact with the people renting he may know that and could put a stop to it. It's too bad because we could really use a good place to rent equipment from but certainly not at the risk of losing a limb
