Guida Woodworks Inc. was founded in 1981 by Joseph Guida in Southern California as a supplier of custom architectural millwork and one of a kind furniture to discerning homeowners. After moving to Flagstaff, AZ in 1987 we continued to build on our legacy of fine woodworking. We are a family owned and operated business offering custom millwork and locally made solid wood products.
All of our flooring is made from precision milled domestic Northern Hardwoods responsibly harvested and sourced from one particular Michigan mill for over 15 years. We have a wide variety of species and grades to choose from not readily available in other retail locations. Because we are the manufacturers, our knowledge of the raw material and milling process can not be matched in a retail setting.
We manufacture complete stair systems and individual stair parts, including bull nose treads, balusters, newel posts, fillet, and handrail. Our custom stair systems range from contemporary designs with free-floating 3 1/2 thick treads to elaborate systems with custom newel posts and curved handrail.
We have a library of over 250 moulding profiles including base, case, crown, cove, chair rail, bead board, exterior siding and T&G paneling. We grind our own knives allowing us to create or match any profile. Most profiles can also be made into a custom curved moulding made to match your required dimensions.
