Timber Resource Group (TRG) is the wood procurement company responsible for purchasing spruce & fir sawlogs for Stratton Lumber and Fontaine Inc sawmills which produce over 100 million board feet of lumber annually. In addition to direct deliveries to the sawmills located in Stratton, Maine and Woburn, Quebec; TRG has a network of Log Yards throughout Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont where suppliers can bring spruce/fir as well as other species and grades of logs.TRG purchases millions of board feet of softwood & hardwood logs each year.

As President, Allan is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Timber Resource Group. Allan earned his A.S and B.S. degrees in Forest Management at University of Maine - Orono, leading him into a 35+ year forestry career. A licensed Forester in ME & NH; Allan resides in Lancaster, NH and divides his time between TRG's office in Stratton, the TRG Log Yards and Suppliers & Customers throughout New England and Quebec.
All TRG Log Yards are operated by full-time Licensed Wood Scalers who utilize the equipment necessary to efficiently unload and load trucks, scale and grade each log to its highest and best use, use handheld computers to record & track each load and in addition same-day payment is available for logs delivered to most locations.
