Services
Nature's Cover is owned by Mr. Rick Shawley. Mr. Shawley opened Nature's Cover at its current location on the Benner Pike in 1994. Prior to 1994, Mr. Shawley owned and operated a mowing and landscaping business and was frustrated with not being able to acquire landscape products with consistent quality and availability.
For those customers who like to do their own projects, we have provided some simple how to's to walk you through your project. Before installing any retaining walls, please check with your local borough/township office for any building permits that are required. Installation how to's are general guidelines.

Just completed the second purchase and placement of a large boulder for the home landscape, and it went very smooth. - Good customer service up front making sure we could get the boulder placed exactly where we wanted it - Adjusted drop-off time to account for a rainy day that might have impacted the lawn given the use of heavy equipment - Friendly, helpful and patient in placing the boulder exactly where we wanted it - As a bonus, considerate in the current pandemic situation, and respectful of distancing, etc. Will continue buying from Nature's Cover whenever in the market for all things rocks.

DO NOT BUY THE GROWING MEDIUM: The "growing medium" they sold me and delivered to my home turned out to be CLAY with some sand and a handful of compost added. It does not drain. It is red and hard. When I called and left a message, asking if a mistake had been made, no one called me back. Over the years we have ordered stone and gravel and mulch from this business with good service.
This one product, which is described as top soil mixed with compost, is very disappointing. They basically sold me fill.full of clay balls.and I had to find a place to dump it bc they would not contact me about picking it up. It set me back a week, requiring me to use previous energy and work dats days.and now I have to dig it out everywhere I used it, and replace it with actual growing medium. What a mess.
