Tank Builders, Inc is a field erected tank contractor with the capability to design, engineer, fabricate, erect and repair welded steel tanks. Our specific focus is on API 650, 620, 653 repair and 12D tanks in the industrial market and AWWA D-100 tanks in the water market. We have been successfully serving customers throughout the Southwest, Gulf Coast, Rocky Mountains and Central United States since 1972. With our headquarters in the Dallas Fort Worth area and 3 fabrications shops located throughout the state we are ready to help you with your tank project.

Tank Builders, Inc. opened our doors in 1972 when Bill Goodfellow and E.L. Derr formed a partnership to build welded steel tanks for the growing water market in Texas. In 1975 Bill & E.L. hired their first full time engineer, Bruce Kromer, directly out of Texas Tech. In 1983 Bill Goodfellow retired and Bruce bought into the company and remained partners with E.L. until 2000 when E.L. retired.
