I've called twice to get an estimate on the price of 1 window. My customer is waiting on me to give them an estimate to install this window but I can not give them a price without knowing how much the window is going to cost. It's been 6 days now since my first call. Yesterday when I called for the 2nd time to see if they ever got the estimate I requested, the same guy answered the phone and was pretty unpleasant to talk to.
I told him why I was calling and he seemed to get upset and responded with by saying "I told you we'll call you when we get the price". Ok well it's been almost a week and I still have not received a simple price estimate! How long does it take to just get a price!? And there is no need to be rude over the phone just because I did a follow up call when you didn't call me back when you said you would. I even waited an extra day before I called back. Still, no price.

I dont know what to say about this place. I have bought lots of lumber from them over the years. But I won't be going there any more. I was there because I'm trying to find decent plywood which is in a shortage do to the mass purchases on the material for boarding up of buildings in the path of hurricanes and out of control D-cities unrest. I walked in and was greeted nicely as usual.
I told them my problem and they said they had what I needed. As the gentleman and I walked back to the yard we was talking and thing's seemed normal, as we approached the stack I needed materials from I said it was a shame that all the plywood on them unrest D-cities buildings would end up in the landfills and a party claiming to be so green and for the environment was causing mass waist.
His attitude immediately changed. He told me I would have to take the 7 boards I needed to finish the project sight unseen as we stood in front of the stack I needed materials from. I said are you kidding me? I've never been told that I couldn't look at the material before purchasing. He said well that's how its going to be and if I didn't like it I could leave.
I bit my tongue and left. They discriminated against me because I stated a fact that doesn't fit their beliefs. Welcome to the new one sided only world were you cannot speak the truth in a country with freedom of speech. Thanks for reading and have a "GREAT" day "AGAIN" Remind you I only needed to see 7 boards from a stack we was standing in front of.

Ok so if we don't count Saturday and Sunday, I did not call Friday afternoon. I called at 9:45 am(3 times before anyone answered- I just looked at my call log) you told me you would call me back on Monday with a price. But no one ever called on Monday. So I waited until Tuesday to follow up with a call again. Then by late Wednesday I was frustrated with still no quote. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
It was 6 days, but I understand no one does business on the weekends, so we'll call it 4. (Plus today, Thursday, so 5 days now) I am very aware how long it takes to get a window from Sprouse. You are correct that it takes 8-10 weeks to get the windows in but jeez, it takes so long that we need to be able to get price estimates within 3 days. That should not be an issue.
I think it would help you and your company if you requested a price list from Sprouse. And find out how much it cost per inch after 100 United inches. With that basic information you could give price quotes that day just like the other companies that sell Sprouse products around here or other companies in general. Yes everyone takes months to get the windows after ordering but we need to be able to get quotes in a timely manner. Thank you for your response

I'm installing a freestandung solar psnel array myself. Because I bought all the lumber from them I was able to ask their staff architect a question about how to support the array from wind damage. He answered my question and today I am istalling the support post and will soon finish the project soon.
