After spending three days and calling five other local plumbers to come out for water leaking into my garage, I called Keen and they were at my house within a few hours. They diagnosed my problem and fixed it before leaving. Responsive from management all the way down to the new guy on the team. I highly recommend. Services: Water heater installation, Faucet repair, Plumbing leak detection

We were told they would be here sometime today then they called to let us know that they were on the way. They arrived within a few minutes after that call. They worked and totally unclogged our kitchen drain and it works great now. They were very nice and professional. We're very appreciative Service: Drain cleaning

Even though our appointment was confirmed twice, we were told by your office on the date of service that you do not take appointments. What kind of business is this? We did a lot of work to make our home ready in order to give you the job that you confirmed a month in advance to do. The day of the job we were told that you don't make appointments? I've seen some bad customer service before but you take the cake. Be sure that I will make it a point to avoid your "service" and advise others to do the same.

Called on Monday and told no one available and would receive a call when a plumber was available. On today (after having the issue taken care of) returned a missed calll (did not leave a message) from Tricia and she stated she had called for a couple of days to see if the service was still needed. So first of Tricia that's a complete lie. SMH. We've done business with you guys in the past and understand AVAILABILITY, but no follow up and then to lie about it.

Bad job by Keen Plumbing. They installed a water heater incorrectly. It was supposed to have an energy blanket wrapped around it BEFORE it was installed. It went under the counter next to an outside wall. The whole purpose of the energy blanket is to cut the cost of electricity used by the water heater. To make matters worse, they said they could put it on after the install but found out they couldn't and just left the mess in the kitchen and walked out.
They also damaged my countertop and refused to replace it. All they had to do was replace the Formica. Then they overcharged me for the water heater. They quoted me $700 but I ended up paying $835 I spoke with Mr. John Casey (owner?) and he was very disagreeable. He flat out refused to replace the countertop, it is only 80. I talked with him on and off during the day while the job was going on.
He was totally unwilling to do the job right and said unless I wanted to pay for more labor at $115/hr. it was not going to happen. I am also hurt that he took it out on his workers. So I have a water heater that sits next to the outside wall, and a broken countertop that will cost us about $150-$200 to replace. I had to pay them when they were ready to leave because he was threatening to continue to charge me more labor.

We called this company and requested a new garbage disposal installed. A full new installation. We requested the company come Thursday and they ended up coming Tuesday. They arrive and say they can not do the instal, they said they do not perform the full install because the electricity was not already run. A company that states they perform garbage disposal installs should clarify not a full install.
Then they wanted to charge me over &130 for coming out here and telling me they do not perform a full install. Do not trust this companies website, their definition of install is half doing a job.

3-31-21 Date of install 460.00 labor (4 hrs @ $115/hr) 835.00 ($135 over the price quoted for water heater) -50.00 (compensation for damage done to countertop) $1245.00 (total paid for water heater incorrectly installed) They gave me a quote over the phone and as I spoke with them, I typed as I taled to them. I requested a Rheem water heater that came in a cabinet, and it fit under the counter.
The girl I spoke with was Tricia, but she was asking someone in the office the cost of the item. He told her and then she told me $700 for the water heater and $115/hr. for labor. They told me they did not need to come out before the job just to check the measurements. I agreed. The company seemed the most reasonable. When the guys got here they did not have a Rheem.
Of course, I did not find out until they had pulled the old one out. The new one would not fit. (see pictures) They pulled it out and went to the shop to retrieve another water heater. It was supposed to come with an energy blanket. They did not install it with one, even though I mentioned it to one of them. The guy told me they could put it on later only they later found out they could not do it get it on.
They abandoned it, left a mess in the kitchen, left the energy blanket on the floor and walked out the door. Now I have a water heater that is not wrapped and it sits against an outside wall. The whole purpose of the energy blanket it to keep the electic bills down. I will be paying higher hot water bills. They also damaged my countertop when they removed the old water heater and it and needs replacing.
I spoke with Mr. Casey off and on during the day and he was most uncooperative and disagreeable. He told me he would NOT replace the countertop but would take $50 off take it or leave it. Only acceptable solution: I want the water heater correctly installed with the energy blanket and I do not want to have to pay for it. I also want the damage that was done to the counter top replaced. and I do not want to have to pay for that either. I sent a complaint to the BBB. I uploaded 5 pictures 4 of the installation of the first unit with damage shown and a copy of the receipt.

They are wonderful! I have worked with them before at my place of employment. Always prompt and priced fairly. So I didn't hesitate to call them for an emergency situation at my home. They arrived exactly when they said they would and ready to work. They properly repaired in one day what had taken a matter of 2 WEEKS only a year earlier for Michael & Son's to improperly repair. And for 1/2 the price! I can't say enough good things about Keen Plumbing. They deserve your business.
